"50.1 PERCENT"

"You know, I don't agree with all the people who support me and my guess is they don't all agree with everything I believe in. But I need to get 50.1 percent or more and I'm appreciative to have the help of a lot of good people." Governor Mitt Romney (R-MA)
  1. We don't really know what the governor believes in. He has gone on the record in support of, and in opposition to, pretty much every issue out there. He may be a moderate at heart... but the crazies have pushed him into pretending to be "severely conservative." In so doing, it is clear Mitt Romney is passionate about nothing.
  2. Calling someone a "good" person should relate to whether they actually are good or not. Trump's race-based antics took him out of this category over a year ago. He is a loon. Gov Romney's inability to distance himself will cost him.
  3. Finally and most shockingly, making a point to say "50.1 percent" indicates he has set a very low bar for himself in his effort to move into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. This is not surprising, considering his campaign's overall sense of entitlement: "It's our turn now."
With the country (and the globe) on economic life support, I don't think this country needs, wants or deserves a leader who'd be content ruling just 50.1 percent of us.

This is a time for bold leadership... something clearly missing from the Romney campaign.
